In 150 words
Kiwaro is a recorder for iPhone that writes down what is said while people are still talking, and translates it as they talk. It works out the language by itself and follows speakers when they switch, in one recording. Live translation shows in big captions, or in full-screen subtitles that can be held up for a room. Behind the live captions, a larger model writes the more accurate transcript that is kept.
Everything runs on the iPhone: nothing is uploaded, no account, and the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected. Recordings are plain files in a folder the user chooses. Kiwaro transcribes English, Polish and Macedonian.
Kiwaro is free to use, with two recordings a day of up to 30 minutes. Kiwaro Pro removes the limits and adds Meeting mode and AI notes made on the iPhone: a summary, key points and action items. Made in Warsaw.

Press release
Kiwaro, a recorder for iPhone that transcribes and translates conversations as they happen without sending a word to a server, is available today on the App Store.
Warsaw, 9 November 2026. Kiwaro turns speech into text while people are still talking. It recognises the language by itself and follows speakers when they switch within one recording, and it can translate what is being said into large captions or full-screen subtitles that can be held up for a room. Behind the live captions, a larger model writes the more accurate transcript that is kept.
Everything runs on the iPhone. There is no account and no upload, and the App Store privacy label reads Data Not Collected. Recordings are plain audio files in a folder the user chooses, so they outlive the app.
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Kiwaro Pro adds AI notes made on the phone: a summary, key points, chapters, action items and a quiz, and Ask, which answers a question from what was said in a recording. Pro also removes the daily limits and adds Meeting mode, a cleaned-up copy of the audio, advanced search, and Word, PDF and Markdown export.
Kiwaro transcribes English, Polish and Macedonian, translates transcripts between any two of them, and translates live between English and Polish. The app itself is in English, Polish and Macedonian.
Kiwaro is free to download and use, with two recordings a day of up to 30 minutes each. Kiwaro Pro costs $7.99 a month or $63.99 a year (29,99 zł or 239,99 zł; 6,99 € or 55,99 €), with a 14-day free trial. It needs an iPhone with iOS 18 or later.

From the founder
“I’ve often left meetings wishing I’d captured more of what was said. With Kiwaro, I can focus on the conversation, follow the live translation when people switch to a language I don’t speak, and revisit the transcript and key points whenever I need them.”Goran Shutinovski, Kiwaro
